'Why wouldn't you?' - Man United fans send Erik ten Hag message after Ruud van Nistelrooy news
Manchester United fans have urged Ruud van Nistelrooy to join Erik ten Hag's coaching staff after news of his resignation from PSV Eindhoven.
Van Nistelrooy informed the Dutch club of his decision to step down with immediate effect on Wednesday, having only spent one season at the club. The Dutchman signed a three-year deal when he replaced Roger Schmidt last year, but claimed he no longer felt that he had the support of everyone at the club.
The former Reds man coached his way through PSV's youth ranks, impressing in separate spells at under-17 and under-19 level before being promoted last year.

PSV have one game left of their Eredivisie season and need just one point against AZ Alkmaar to confirm a second-place finish, which makes the timing of Van Nistelrooy's departure even more surprising.
And United fans, who have been following the former striker's progress in the Netherlands, have urged Van Nistelrooy to join fellow Dutchman Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
