Why Erling Haaland looks destined to make history in his first season in the Premier League

To say Erling Haaland has made a quick start to life in the Premier League would be a grave understatement.

Most foreign players require some element of a bedding-in process when they arrive in England. But not Manchester City's latest high-profile signing.

When Pep Guardiola's side announced they had reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the Norwegian's signature earlier this year, it had their domestic and European rivals shuddering in fear. In 2019-20 he scored 29 in 29 league games for both Salzburg and Dortmund. In 2020-21 he hit 27 in 28 and last term
