Who Manchester United are tipped to sign before transfer deadline

Manchester United are still hoping to bring in a few more faces to Carrington before the transfer window closes next week. Spirits are high around the club after a win over bitter rivals Liverpool, but United still remain in need of reinforcements.

With four signings already joining so far, United are still looking at a few big names to join the club as they know they will be needed to compete in the Premier League.

Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro are all welcome additions, and will be expected to immediately improve the squad after a dismal previous season.

Manchester United are bidding to sign Ajax forward Antony, the Manchester Evening News can confirm.

Erik ten Hag earmarked Antony, 22, as his priority target in attack at the start of the transfer window and Ajax are holding out for an offer of around €100million (£84.15m).

The right-winger would add much needed pace to the frontline, adding a new dimension to United's attack.

Speculation over Gakpo's future with the Eredivisie giants continues to mount in the days leading up to the summer transfer window closing.
