Who Man City can draw in Champions League quarter-finals
Manchester City have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Blues cruised into the quarter-finals as their 5-0 hammering of Sporting in Lisbon rendered last week's goalless second-leg a virtual dead rubber. So much so that even Scott Carson got a runout and now eyes will be looking to who they will face next.
As the competition is at the quarter-final stage, the draw is now open so there is no longer any seeding or prevention of teams from the same country playing one another. Any club can be drawn against any club. The route to the final will also be determined so the Blues will learn who their potential semi-final opponents could be if they get that far.

As a result of the open seeding, City could be drawn against some fierce Premier League rivals with Liverpool already qualified and Chelsea looking likely to join them. Fellow European heavyweights Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also already in the hat.
Manchester United won't be joining them, however, after they were eliminated by Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night. The Spanish champions won 1-0 at Old Trafford to go through 2-1 on aggregate.
Benfica went through with Atleti after overcoming Ajax in Amsterdam with a shock 0-1 (2-3) win. That leaves the two final slots which will be decided on Wednesday.
Serie A giants Juventus will be hoping to get past Villarreal but were held to a 1-1 draw in the opening leg of the tie. Chelsea could make it three English teams into the final eight if they overcome Lille and they already hold a 2-0 advantage.
