Who is in the Vikings Valhalla cast as the series launches on Netflix?
The popular historical drama series Vikings has a new spin-off that hit streaming platforms today.
The new show will focus on events that take place more than a hundred years after the original Vikings story, which proved immensely popular when it was first released back in 2013 (eventually concluding in 2020).
Vikings: Valhalla was made available on Netflix in the UK at 8am today (February 25, 2022).

Jeb Stuart, the new series' creator, told polygon: "The goal of the show is that, as we move from season to season, there's parts of it we're going to have to give up."
"So my goal would be, at the very end, that you suddenly look back on this incredible period of time of both shows and say, 'Wow, it was really good when they were just killing those Saxons. I miss the purity of that moment."
In the trailer for the show, it looks like original Vikings fans can expect the same mixture of interesting storylines and exciting action in the new series, which will see new characters portrayed by actors that many will recognise.
The official Netflix synopsis tells us: "VIKINGS: VALHALLA chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived — the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter)."
