Dan Gore could be the latest playmaker to emerge through the club's youth ranks - with the 18-year-old showing his talents during an impressive 2022/23 campaign.
The number 10 has emerged as one of the brightest stars in the club's youth ranks. He announced himself as a potential star of the future when playing alongside Kobbie Mainoo in the club's 2021 FA Youth Cup triumph. He followed that up last season when he was awarded the club's Reserve Player of the Year award.
Having played a range of roles in midfield, his wide range of passing and ability to run forwards with the ball has seen comparisons drawn to current first team star Bruno Fernandes by the MEN's Under-21 reporter Steven Railston, who has seen Gore's impact at Academy level on countless occasions. Having captained the club's U21 side at 18, he is expected to be on the radar of manager Erik ten Hag in pre-season.

Following a brilliant performance against Arsenal for the club's U21 side last season, manger Mark Dempsey sang the youngster's praises - with particular focus on his leadership credentials.
"He [Gore] was really good. I think he’s a proper footballer, good with the ball, good without the ball, and he can travel with it. His final pass has to improve for me, that’s the last bit for him, but the rest is great," Dempsey told the MEN.
"I like to see him play football because he’s one of them to get fans off their seats. He smashes into people, technically he’s fantastic and he’s been terrific all season. He’s been captain a number of times and
