'Who do you think you are?' - Roy Keane rages at Rod Stewart after 'bully' claim

Roy Keane has hit back at Rod Stewart for labelling him a 'bully' by asking the rocker 'Who do you think you are?'

The football legend also criticised one of Stewart's live performances, branding it as 'rubbish'. Known for his intense personality, Keane's leadership under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United led to seven Premier League titles, making him the most successful captain in the club's history.

However, his aggressive approach has drawn criticism, particularly during his coaching and managerial stints. Gabby Agbonlahor previously labelled him a 'bit of a bully', a sentiment echoed by Stewart on talkSPORT in 2021.

When asked on the Stick is Football Podcast about what provoked the Celtic-supporting rock star's comments, an irate Keane responded: "I did nothing, why do you think I did something? Rod Stewart slags everybody off. Who does he think he is?

"He has a go at everybody! He's not great. Great at what? Singing? I saw him a few years ago, he was rubbish that night. Rubbish, I swear. We have bad games, I didn't say he's not a good singer, he was just rubbish that night I saw him."

Asked what made him 'bad', Keane went on: "His voice! He had a bad night. He's pushing on a bit now, there must come a point like a boxer where as a singer you go, 'You've had a good run, enough's enough'.

"We've had it as players. When do people say to a singer, 'Come on, you've had a good innings, enough's enough, get off the stage'? Get off the stage Rod. Yeah, that's right. Get him on (the podcast).
