Where Manchester United's 2008/09 Champions League final squad vs Barcelona are now

Coming into the match as the reigning European champions, the Reds were oozing confidence. However, their opponents were a Barcelona side that had already captured the La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies.

Aiming to complete the Treble, Barca took a 1-0 lead before the 10-minute mark courtesy of a Samuel Eto'o goal. The striker dribbled past Nemanja Vidic before beating Edwin van der Sar at his near post. Barcelona were determined to double their lead and they made it 2-0 with 20 minutes to go as Lionel Messi headed home Xavi’s cross to secure Champions League glory.
