Where Leicester City are tipped to finish compared to Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle

Leicester City and their rivals are gearing up for pre-season ahead of the upcoming 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

Managers will be looking to shape their teams and put the players through their paces as they strive to achieve success on the pitch. It has been a quiet transfer window so far for Leicester, though boss Brendan Rodgers has promised a healthy shake-up of his squad over the summer.

City finished eighth in the league last season, following successive fifth-place finishes. That means no European football for the Foxes this time around, leaving them to focus on domestic competitions.

Rodgers' side kick off their league programme against Brentford at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, August 7. So, how will they fare this term?

Perhaps not surprisingly, Manchester City and Liverpool are once again being tipped to battle it out for the title, with Tottenham and Chelsea favourites to land the other two Champions League spots. Manchester United and Arsenal will also be hoping to break into the top four, while the likes of Newcastle United and Aston Villa are making moves in the transfer markets as they bid to challenge higher up the table.

According to bookmaker Sky Bet, 2016 champions Leicester are joint ninth favourite to win the title at odds of 200/1, along with Villa and Brighton. That means West Ham United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Man City are all being backed to finish above them in the table.
