When Terrance McKinney scored a seven-second KO on his UFC debut in 2021

Ahead of his return this weekend, we take a look back at one of the most memorable UFC debuts of all-time from Terrance McKinney.

Since the UFC first opened its doors we’ve seen plenty of memorable debuts take place from the heavyweight division all the way down to strawweight. Alas, while some feature world class knockouts or dominant submissions, none have been quite as fast as what Terrance McKinney produced at UFC 263 in June 2021.

On that night in Glendale, McKinney made his first appearance in the UFC after taking a fight against Matt Frevola on short notice. The youngster was eight days removed from another KO win over Michael Irizarry Ortiz in LFA, and you could tell from the minute he walked to the cage that he wasn’t here to make up the numbers.

The contest was the definition of short and sweet as McKinney dropped Frevola with a quick one-two, followed up with a few more shots, and forced the referee to step in and stop the contest. Boom, just like that.
