When is the Top Boy season 4 release date on Netflix and what to expect from the new series

Top Boy season 4 will see the return of the show’s patriarch Dushane played by Ashley Walters. Kane Robinson will also return as Sully as they continue to run their drug empire on Summerhouse turf.

The new season will consist of eight episodes. The end of season 3 saw a proposal made by Dushane to Jamie - who is now behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit in order to protect his family.

The air between Dushane and Sully isn't clear either due to Dushane framing Jamie’s brothers.The fourth season will unravel more secrets and tensions might increase between the leading characters.

Top Boy season 4 is scheduled to be released on Netflix on Friday, March 18.

This could be the end of the Top Boy journey. After a six-year break, in 2019 Top Boy was brought back to the small screen for two seasons.

However, the streaming service has not yet commented on whether they will extend the series but it is looking very unlikely.

Season 4 will explore Sully’s character and get more in touch with his sensitive side. Sully was left traumatised in the previous season after watching his friend/surrogate son Jason die in an arson attack.

It is also revealed that Sarah and Lee, the addicts from the previous season, are actually undercover agents who are investigating Dushane.

Little Simz, Michael Ward, Jasmine Jobson, Kadeem Ramsay, Lisa Dwan, Saffron Hocking, Hope Ikopoku, Jolade Obasola and Araloylin Oshunremi are also returning as their characters.
