When is the Europa League quarter-final draw? TV channel, live stream, start time and qualified teams

The Europa League quarter-finals are almost upon us, with the second legs of those last-16 ties taking place tonight.

West Ham look to fight back against Sevilla on home soil, while Barcelona won in Turkey against Galatasaray after a goalless draw at the Camp Nou in the early kick-off.

Rangers saw out their lead over Red Star Belgrade, while Atalanta and Braga qualified after first-leg advantages over Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco respectively.

The quarter-finals are only just around the corner and the draw will also decide how the rest of the competition progresses. Already in the hat wee RB Leipzig, after Spartak Moscow were kicked out of the competition.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the draw...

The draw for the Europa League quarter-finals takes place on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 12.30pm GMT.

Uefa’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland will host the ceremony.

Teams can be drawn against clubs from their own country, and there are no seedings for the draw.

This draw will set out the quarter-finals, as well as the semi-final path and which of the eventual finalists will be designated as the “home” team in the final.

It is therefore the last draw that will be required in this season’s Europa League.

TV channel: Friday’s draw will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2, with coverage beginning at 12:15pm.

Live stream: Uefa’s website, plus the BT Sport YouTube channel, website and app will all stream the draw live online.

Live blog: Follow all the latest news as it unfolds with Standard Sport’s dedicated draw blog.

The matches will take place on April 7 and 14, with the semi-finals then set for April 28 and May 5.

Seville’s Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan hosts the final, on May 18.
