When is Anthony Joshua next fight? Otto Wallin date, location and potential card

Anthony Joshua will fight Otto Wallin in his next competitive boxing fight as promoter Eddie Hearn looks to close off the finer details of the occasion.

AJ had lost two consecutive fights to Oleksandr Usyk but bounced back with a win against Jermaine Franklin and a knock-out victory over Robert Helenius. A victory over Wallin would help to further exercise those Usyk demons.

Wallin has an excellent record of 26 wins out of 27 in the boxing ring, including 14 knock-outs. His one defeat was against Tyson Fury but Wallin did give the Gypsy King a tough battle, leaving his opponent needing 47 stitches above his eye.

Joshua also has 26 professional wins, including 23 knock-out victories, but he has three defeats. Aside from the two defeats to Usyk, the 34-year-old was also knocked out by Andy Ruiz in 2019.

The fight between Joshua and Wallin is likely to be held on December 23, the original date for Fury’s fight against Usyk before the delay. It will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

No broadcaster has jumped on the fight yet but that is likely to change after everything becomes more official. TNT and DAZN have shown recent heavyweight clashes to viewers in Britain as part of exterior pay-per-view packages.

Joshua and Wallin’s ring-walks are likely to be starting at around 11pm, UK time. The event itself, featuring all of the undercards, is likely to take place much earlier.

Deontay Wilder could be in action at the event as the co-main event against Joseph Parker. Daniel Dubois will also be in action at the event, going toe-to-toe with Jarrell Miller.
