When Eric Bailly returned from 6 months out and attempted a bicycle kick 20 mins into comeback

Eric Bailly has gone viral numerous times since signing for Manchester United in 2016.

To say that Bailly is an unorthodox defender would be an understatement.

He defends in his own unique way and for that reason he’s become a fan-favourite among United fans.

Unfortunately, Bailly has had injury problems aplenty during his six-year spell in England.

According to Transfermarkt, he has suffered 16 injuries since signing for United.

He’s been injured for 566 days and missed 103 United games during his career.

His worst injury was sustained against Tottenham in the International Champions Cup in July 2019.

Bailly needed surgery after injuring his knee and was out of action for six months.

He finally made his return in January 2020 as he appeared for Man Utd U23s against Newcastle.

United’s coaches would have wanted Bailly to take it easy after so long out.

But that’s not Bailly’s style. He does what he wants on the pitch and never holds back.

So, just 20 minutes into his comeback, Bailly decided to attempt an overhead kick. Watch the moment below…
