When are the 2023/24 Premier League fixtures released? Date, time and key information

Though the 2022/23 Premier League campaign only reached its conclusion just over a fortnight ago, attention will soon switch to the start of next season.

All 20 clubs will discover their schedules for the 2023/24 campaign on Thursday morning, officially marking the beginning of the countdown to the start of the new term. Manchester City will have ambitions of retaining their Premier League crown while Manchester United will be looking to build on their respectable third-placed finish this time around.

City, who completed a historic treble by winning the Champions League last weekend, won the Premier League title by five points this season, pipping Arsenal, who wobbled towards the end, to the post. United, meanwhile, won each of their last four games to snatch third ahead of Newcastle United.

Elsewhere in the top flight, the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham will be aiming to improve under new managers, while Liverpool will be hoping to put an underwhelming 2022/23 campaign behind them.

When are the Premier League fixtures released?

The fixtures for the 2023/24 campaign will be released on Thursday, June 15. All 20 clubs and the Premier League itself will reveal the fixtures, in full, at 9am BST.

When does the 2023/24 season start?

The 2023/24 season is scheduled to get under way on Saturday, August 12. However, it is possible that the opening game of the new season could be switched to the evening of Friday, August 11 for television purposes.

The EFL season will start a week earlier.
