2023/24 Premier League title odds as Manchester United and Man City await fixture schedules

The fixtures for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign will be released at 9am on Thursday morning, signalling the beginning of the countdown to the big kick-off.

The new campaign is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, August 12, though it is highly likely that the opening game will be moved to Friday, August 11 because of TV. It has been a common theme for Sky Sports to broadcast the season opener on the Friday evening in recent years.

Manchester City will, of course, head into the campaign with the objective of retaining their Premier League crown after winning the title as part of their brilliant Treble achievement. They beat Arsenal to the title this season by five points after capitalising on the Gunners' end-of-season jitters.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will be looking to build on a solid third-place finish that they achieved in Erik ten Hag's maiden season at the club this term. They will have ambitions of bridging the gap to City and featuring in the title race, though their summer recruitment drive may well dictate the prospect of that dream becoming a reality.
