What West Ham did vs Manchester United that left David Moyes delighted

David Moyes felt his West Ham side worked Manchester United out in the second half of their Premier League win.

The Hammers netted twice in the closing quarter through Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus to claim the three points and consign United to an eighth top-flight defeat of the season. It is now 13 in all competitions.

And while the Reds were competitive in the first period, missed chances cost them and Erik ten Hag's side were lifeless after the break. United have plenty of questions to answer but for Moyes it was a happy reunion against his former employers as his side leapfrogged the Reds in the table.

"But hey, we did the job against Manchester United who for most of the season have been up around the top six or seven. It’s an opponent who if we can beat it’s a great result for us."
