Julianna Pena will be looking to once again achieve what many believed was nigh on impossible when she faces Amanda Nunes at UFC 277, but what time does the Women’s Bantamweight Champion head to the octagon to defend her title?

Pena took the win over Nunes back at UFC 269 in December 2021, in what was arguably the greatest upset in the history of Women’s MMA, as Pena was able to lock in a rear-naked choke.

Whilst there are some who dispute whether this truly was the greatest upset ever (as Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm also springs to mind), what is known is that the hype for this rematch is reaching impressive levels.

According to the official UFC site, the Main Card for the event will be starting at 3:00 AM BST on Sunday, July 31st.

With that in mind, and with Pena’s title defence being the main event of the night, we’re expecting that the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion will be making her walk to the octagon between 4 AM BST and 5 AM BST on Sunday, July 31st.

This timing however is of course an estimate, as it all depends on how long the undercard fights for UFC 277 go.
