Chelsea are being linked with a shock move for Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez in the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old winger sees his contract at the Etihad Stadium expire at the end of next season, with negotiations over an extension already taken place, but with no agreement just yet.
According to French news outlet Footmercato, the west London club are 'keenly interested' in Mahrez, with the Algerian available for around €40million (£33.2m) in the summer transfer window.
However, Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in Mahrez as they look to sign a replacement for Angel Di Maria, with the Argentine looking set to leave in the summer.
Both Chelsea and PSG have reportedly 'been working on the subject for several weeks' with Mahrez's future in Manchester uncertain as it stands.
Judging by some old comments from Mahrez, the Algeria international is a huge fan of Chelsea as well.
Back in 2017, after Chelsea clinched the Premier League title after a victory at West Bromwich Albion, Mahrez was heard speaking with his former Leicester City team-mate Islam Slimani and their conversation was picked up by French broadcasters - via the Daily Mail.
