What movies are coming to Netflix in April 2022?

In April, at least seven new films are coming to Netflix, including some classic titles that you’re bound to recognise. In a recent Twitter thread, Netflix put out a list of some of the upcoming movies that are new to the platform (amid other news of all the movies and TV shows coming to or returning to the streaming service).

The Bubble is a brand-new comedy film from Emmy award-winning Director and Producer Judd Apatow, starring Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, David Duchovny, Karen Gillan and more, as a group of actors that are isolated in a posh English hotel trying to finish one of only two films in production during the peak of the pandemic and is out now on Netflix.

Metal Lords is another new Netflix film coming to the streaming service this month and will star Jaeden Martell, Isis Hainsworth and Adrian Greensmith. The movie follows two friends on a journey to start a high school metal band (with many drawing comparisons to the classic Jack Black comedy School of Rock).

Adapted from the Sarah Dessen novel of the same name, Along for the Ride will also be joining Netflix in April and is a new drama film starring Emma Pasarow, Belmont Cameli and Andie MacDowell.

Alongside the new original content coming to the streaming service, several classic films will also come to Netflix in April. Robert De Niro’s legendary performance in Taxi Driver (1976) is now available to watch, as well as the popular children’s film Spy Kids.

According to a tweet from Netflix, these films will be new on Netflix this month:
