What Manchester United need to do to reach Europa League last-16 after Rangers win

Manchester United have one foot in the last-16 of the Europa League after Thursday night's dramatic 2-1 win over Rangers at Old Trafford.

United's task ahead of their trip to Romania is clear: win and they are guaranteed a place in the last-16, avoiding the two-legged play-off tie Amorim wants to avoid at all costs amid his hunger for time on the training ground. A victory may be enough for them to finish as high as second, depending on results elsewhere.
