What Jurgen Klopp has said about Antonio Conte's Tottenham ahead of Liverpool vs Man United

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes the quality Antonio Conte has in his Tottenham squad is "incredible". Although Spurs were on the losing side at the weekend following a 1-0 defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion, the Lilywhites have hit a new level in recent weeks to move into the final Champions League spot.

Goals and assists from Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in that period have proved crucial to lift the team up the table, with new signing Dejan Kulusevski also contributing three goals and six assists since his switch from Juventus. Tottenham are really in a good position to attack their final six games of the campaign and seal a return to Europe's premier competition, although Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham are certainly not out of the running just yet.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool taking on the Red Devils at Anfield, Klopp opened up on Manchester United's current position of fifth in the Premier League table. Stating that you are a "quality side" if you sit just outside the top four, the 54-year-old then went on to mention Tottenham.

"If you are [fifth] in the Premier League, it means you are a quality side," said the German in his pre-match press conference, as reported by The Mirror. "Because with all the opponents you have, it's madness how consistent you have to be to get somehow close to that area.

"You see Tottenham flying in the moment and then get a little drop [at the weekend], but the quality they have is incredible."
