Change is on the horizon at Manchester United as they prepare to announce a permanent successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Several months have passed since the popular Norwegian was sacked and replaced on an interim basis by German coach Ralf Rangnick.

Moving forward, Erik ten Hag is the preferred candidate to take over and key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom have already held initial talks with the Ajax manager. A final decision is yet to be made and Ten Hag has other competition for the role including long-term target Mauricio Pochettino.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

Good enough to play 14 matches for the first-team, mainly under Louis van Gaal, Borthwick-Jackson headed to Oldham after he was deemed surplus to requirements at United and spent one season there before moving on, yet again. Currently with Burton, the defender has featured 30 times in League One this term.
