Manchester City are yet to win a friendly game during their pre-season in the United States. Pep Guardiola's side have kept their supporters entertained in America after scoring five goals in two games, though those ended in defeat to Celtic and AC Milan.

The Scottish Premiership side came away 4-3 winners while Milan recorded a 3-2 win. The match against Barcelona will be a special one for the City boss, who began his playing career at the Spanish side before going on to manage them between 2007 and 2012.

In his pre-match press-conference, Guardiola highlighted his gratitude towards the club saying: "It doesn’t matter if it’s a friendly or an official game against Barcelona, for me personally, for the Club and team it will always be so special.

The friendly match between the sides will be played at the Camping World Stadium in the early hours of Wednesday (July 31) at 12am, UK time. For local audiences it will be a 7:00pm kick-off on Wednesday evening.

For UK viewers, the game will be available to watch live on CITY+. The matchday live show will begin an hour before kick-off with Nedum Onuoha and Izzy Christiansen as the special guests alongside Natalie Pike.

Joleon Lescott and Shaun Wright-Phillips will be at the stadium to provide insight.
