What Ashleigh Barty was spotted doing moments before Danielle Collins Australian Open win
Ashleigh Barty secured Australian Open glory with a straight-sets victory over Danielle Collins on Saturday morning. The world No 1 became the first Australian to win a singles title at the tournament since Christine O'Neil back in 1978. And her win saw the Rod Laver Arena go absolutely wild in Melbourne.
Barty won the first set 6-3, before then finding herself 1-5 down in the second.
And just as the match looked set to go to a decider, BBC Sport commentator Gigi Salmon noticed her gesturing towards her box.

Barty had been blown away during the early stages of the second set but, after being given encouragement, then bounced back.
The Australian was able to force a tie-breaker, which she won 7-2 to secure the Grand Slam title.
It was impressive stuff from the 25-year-old, who admitted it was a 'dream come true' to claim a major on home soil.

"I am a little stumped, I would love to thank everyone who does so much work behind the scenes - it takes a real big village to put on an event like this, this tournament has been one of my favourite experiences, so thank you so much for that.
"To all the umpires, ball kids, everyone who makes it so easy for us players to do what we do - you guys makes it seamless and without you we'd be lost!
"To my team, wow!
"I have said numerous times I am so lucky to have so many people here who love and support me.
"Mum, dad and my sisters, I am an incredibly fortunate and lucky girl to have so
