What Antony has said about Erik ten Hag as Manchester United prepare fresh transfer bid
Ajax sensation Antony has already detailed his level of respect for Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag amid the Reds' plan to lodge a new bid for his services.
The Manchester Evening News understands that United, who posted their first victory of the season on Monday evening, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford, are expected to submit a new offer for the 22-year-old ahead of the transfer window closing next week. The Brazilian has been on United's radar for much of the summer and they remain keen to add to their attacking options before the bell.
The Brazilian was installed as Ten Hag's top target to strengthen his right-wing options before the transfer window had even officially opened. However, United's interest cooled following Ajax's move to slap a big-money price tag on the Brazilian's signature.

United, though, have rekindled their interest in the winger over the last week or so, meaning it is still possible that he could seal a move to Old Trafford before the 11pm deadline on September 1. Over the weekend it emerged that the Brazilian had gone on 'strike' in a bid to try and force through a move to M16.
It was claimed that he had failed to report for training on Friday and Saturday before being left out of the matchday squad for Ajax's 1-0 triumph over Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday. Antony, in tandem with his representatives, is trying to convince Ajax to negotiate a deal with United.
Ajax, however, are standing firm. They are holding out for an offer of around €100million (£84.15m), highlighting just how deep United might be forced to dive into their pockets.
But if United do meet Ajax's demands and manage to lure Antony
