West Ham have now submitted multiple bids at London Stadium
West Ham United currently have multiple bids in for transfer targets ahead of next week’s deadline, according to Ryan Taylor of the Daily Express.
David Moyes has overseen a busy few months at the London Stadium but can still strengthen his squad before 11pm on September 1.
The next priority for the Hammers appears to be bolstering their midfield options.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday that the east Londoners were advancing in talks over a price and personal terms for Lyon star Lucas Paqueta.
A fee of around £33.7 million has been submitted to the Ligue 1 side from West Ham, according to the outlet, with Moyes later confirming the approach. Newcastle United and Arsenal have both previously been linked with the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, last season’s Europa League semi-finalists have been offered the chance to sign versatile Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to The Evening Standard.
Hans Vanaken continues to be chased by West Ham too, with a £10.8 million offer to Club Brugge for their captain understood to have failed.
Chelsea star Conor Gallagher is the subject of plenty of interest this summer and the Sun have reported that the Hammers have now joined Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the race for his signature.
Taylor understands that bids for multiple players have been submitted in recent days as Moyes looks to bolster his squad before the deadline.
However, the journalist questions whether this is the right way for the club to go about their business.
When asked whether West Ham are set for a busy week, Taylor told GIVEMESPORT: “Absolutely. From what I understand, they have bids in for a lot of players, but I’m not really sure if that’s the right strategy that West Ham need at the moment. Moyes has
