We simulated Wolves vs Man City to get a score prediction in Premier League title race

Manchester City face a tough away trip against Wolves after the club extended their advantage over Liverpool in the title race to three points.

City boosted their hopes of winning a fourth Premier League title in five years after an impressive 5-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday. The win put Pep Guardiola's side ahead of Liverpool by three points at the top of the table whilst increasing their goal difference further.

City showed no signs of needing a recognised striker on Sunday, but Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is expected to join the club this summer in one of the biggest deals in the club's history. Guardiola will be without Kyle Walker, John Stones and Ruben Dias for the rest of the season, causing a bit of a headache at the back for the Spaniard as Fernandinho is expected to be drafted into the starting lineup alongside Aymeric Laporte in defence.

So, what line-ups will both teams select and what could the final score be? We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Man City against Wolves on Wednesday and this is what happened. We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.

We predict that Man City could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Cancelo, Fernandinho, Laporte, Zinchenko; Rodri, De Bruyne, Silva; Mahrez, Foden, Sterling.

We predict that Wolves could set up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sa; Boly, Coady, Saiss; Jonny, Dendoncker, Neves, Moutinho, Marcal; Jimenez, Hee-Chan.

City controlled the game from the first whistle
