'We have to' - Trincao sends message to Wolves fans after dramatic Chelsea draw

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Francisco Trincao says the team have to win their final three games "for our fans" after stealing a late point against Chelsea.

The Blues took a two goal lead in the second half before the Barcelona loanee scored an incredible goal from outside the box just two minutes after coming off the bench. Wolves skipper Conor Coady then scored an unlikely equaliser deep into injury-time to complete a remarkable comeback.

The result leaves Wolves within five points of West Ham in seventh place but with a game in hand, meaning they could still overtake the Hammers in the Premier League table and qualify for next year's Uefa Europa Conference League. The task will be difficult, however, as they take on Man City and Liverpool either side of a meeting with relegated Norwich City, but the 22-year-old says they are aiming for wins at this stage of the season.

“The target is to win our games," Trincao told the club's official site. "In the end we tried to get the draw, and we did it and we are happy with the result."

In the opening half Wolves held their own against a Chelsea brimming with expensive talent, keeping the tie scoreless at the break. Thomas Tuchel did what Thomas Tuchel does, though, and made some tactical changes.

Saul Niguez came on for Marcos Alonso to beef up the midfield and go to a back four, and it seemed to do the trick. Chelsea were two goals up before the hour mark thanks to a Romelu Lukaku brace.

Bruno Lage made changes of his own as Wolves attempted to get back into the game. Hwang-hee Chan came on for Pedro Neto and Chiquinho replaced Romain Saiss in a double swap in the 70th minute, before Trincao was subbed on in place of Ruben Neves.
