'We can reveal...' - Journalist now provides worrying news for Rangers

The 90min writer revealed that the 26-year-old has emerged as a target for Brighton south of the border after they lost midfield enforcer Yves Bissouma to Tottenham but there is also thought to be interest in the Finnish international in Germany after an influential season in Glasgow which saw the club reach the Europa League final and claim the Scottish Cup.

Kamara only signed a new deal at Ibrox last summer tying him down to the Light Blues until 2025 but Giovanni van Bronckhorst might have always been expecting an offer from elsewhere and it appears that one could well be approaching.

(39:27)“We can reveal that Brighton have an interest in Glen Kamara. He is one of the players they are considering as a replacement for Yves Bissouma.

“Glen Kamara who was fabulous for Rangers on that run to the Europa League final and on the back of that there is a lot of Bundesliga interest in Glen Kamara.

“He is also being considered as a Laimer replacement (Leipzig). There’s a few other clubs as well Southampton sniffing around, Leeds had a look as well.”

Recently speaking to Finnish broadcaster YLE he admitted that he realised that the level in Scotland was ‘really high’ and that it was the best place for him to develop having initially wanted to play in England but the player, described as a ‘lovely footballer’ by former Ibrox assistant and QPR manager Michael Beale, did reveal that he would still like to play in the Premier League which isn’t the best of news for GVB.

However, Ross Wilson is likely to work a favourable sum for the 46-cap Finland ace who only cost the Gers £45k from Dundee in 2019 and after 158 appearances the club may decide to cash in with plenty of reported interest.
