WATCH | 'We're Africans, we are struggling!' - Pitso Mosimane continues to lay into FIFA

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane continued to lay into FIFA ahead of his sides Club World Cup semi-final encounter against Brazilian giants Palmeiras.

Mosimane, without several of his star players at his disposal due to Afcon, guided his charges to a slender 1-0 victory over Mexican giants Monterrey on Saturday in the second round of the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

A 53rd-minute winner courtesy of Mohamed Hany was enough to secure a passage to the semi-final and set up a mouth-watering encounter against Palmeiras.

During the post-match press conference, Mosimane questioned FIFA’s logic in running the Club World Cup at the same time as the Africa Cup of Nations that only came to an end on Sunday.

Mosimane has now continued to tackle the issue ahead of their encounter against Palmeiras on Tuesday.

Kick-off is at 18:30 (SA time).

The winner will either take on Premier League giants Chelsea or Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
