WATCH | TS Galaxy veteran Bernard Parker suffers horror leg injury against Sundowns
A horror incident occurred during Wednesday night's Carling Knockout Cup match between TS Galaxy and Mamelodi Sundowns when veteran Bernard Parker broke his leg.

TS Galaxy's Parker was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from Sundowns' Bongani Zungu in the 57th minute of the contest at Mbombela Stadium.
The referee immediately halted play as Zungu, who bizarrely protested his innocence, received a straight red card for his actions.
Parker, 37, was subsequently stretchered off by the medics and he appeared to be in severe pain.

Sundowns were trialing 2-1 at the time, and even though they equalised through Gaston Sirino to take the game to extra time, they would eventually be eliminated 5-4 on penalties.
Parker was sent to hospital and TS Galaxy players visited their team-mate on Thursday morning, wishing him a speedy recovery.
The injury is certain to keep Parker sidelined for an extended period, and at 37 years, one wonders whether it may be a career-ending one.
