WATCH | Three crazy Formula 1 clips from Azerbaijan GP practice
Max Verstappen may have put his Red Bull on top in the solitary practice session for this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix, but the best action came earlier in the session.
We revisit the moments that caught our eye in Baku's medieval streets.
On-board with Hamilton
It's often said that you must have a strong stomach to be a Formula 1 driver. The way objects come at and past you will distort your reality. But for an F1 driver, this is the most normal thing. Just ask Lewis Hamilton.
The Mercedes driver didn't partake in the session at first, waiting in the garage for his team to fully prepare the car for what was to come. And when he did join the session, he wasted no time posting the best possible time.
The below video gives insights into what the drivers endure on the streets of Baku.

Tsunoda spins out
Within the opening minutes of the practice session, AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda made contact with the wall at Turn 2, leaving him with a right-rear puncture. Thus began a very long and slow drive back to the pits around the 6km circuit.
Coming out of Turn 16, Tsunoda made the 2km drive to the pits, with the car's bottom and the punctured tyre scraping on the track, creating a plume of white smoke.
Tsunoda was fortunate enough to rejoin the session with a fresh set of tyres.

Gasly takes a smoke
Switching from AlphaTauri to Alpine for 2023, Pierre Gasly had a baptism of fire upon F1's return to racing. Barely 20 minutes into the session, the team told Gasly over the radio to pull his car to the side of the track.
