WATCH | Sergio Ramos? Toulouse star has Sharks and co bemused with stunning 'soccer pass'

Toulouse fullback Thomas Ramos might've proven a real thorn in the Sharks' flesh during their 54-20 Champions Cup victory on Saturday, but it wasn't his personal tally of 29 points that had supporters and onlookers buzzing.

Instead, the France star made an immediate impression early in the game with proceedings still scoreless.

Sharks pivot Curwin Bosch had launched a decent kick behind the Toulouse defence, which had Ramos scurrying back to field the ball.

Yet, with Bok star Lukhanyo Am haring after him, the 25-year-old decided it was too risky to pick it up and rather launched an audacious, brilliantly executed back pass to Romain Ntamack with his right foot, allowing the flyhalf to clear.

That piece of outrageous skill had many cheerily quipping whether it was the Tricolores' No 15 playing or whether legendary Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos had snuck up onto the field.

Martin Gillingham, BT Sport's main commentator for the match, said: "Well, that's maybe the sort of skill that does belong on the other side of the city at the football stadium."

His co-commentator, Benjamin Kayser, could only marvel at the moment.

"Thomas Ramos has had that a bit of that footballing inspiration. Look at that, not even a worry in the world. Just football passes the ball to Ntamack," he said with a chuckle.
