Watch Scotland U21s vs Spain LIVE for free as Tynecastle hosts crunch Euro qualifier

Scotland's U21 side continue their quest to qualify for the Euros in Romania and Georgia next summer with a huge clash against Spain at Tynecastle.

Scot Gemmill's team have made an impressive start in Group B having won four, drawn one and lost one of their first six matches, and go into tonight's game trailing the visitors by three points at the top of the group. The Scots ran the five time U21 Euro winners close in the previous meeting last September, with Benat Turrientes' winner seven minutes from time enough to separate the sides.

Key men Max Johnston, Ben Doak, Connor Barron and Tommy Conway are unavailable after being called up to Steve Clarke's senior squad for the September internationals, while Lewis Fiorni and defensive duo Liam Morrison and Ibane Bowat are also missing. However, Gemmill will be able to call upon the services of Motherwell star Lennon Millar, Wigan's Liverpool loanee Calvin Ramsay and Hibs forward Kieron Bowie as well as several uncapped players including former Celtic kid Daniel Kelly and Dundee United midfielder Miller Thomson.

Spanish football is riding the crest of a wave after their Euro 2024 and Olympic Games triumphs last summer, and Scotland are fully aware that they will have to be on their A-game in Gorgie if they have any intention of pulling off a shock result.
