Watch: Noel Gallagher launches swear-laden rant on stage as he makes fun of fan's haircut

Noel Gallagher launched an expletive-laden rant where he mocked a fan's haircut during a festival performance at the weekend.

The singer was performing as part of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at the Bingley Weekender at Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club on Friday evening (August 4).

But midway through the set, having performed the likes of Pretty Boy and Council Skies, the Burnage-born singer, 56, stopped the show to launch a tongue-in-cheek rant aimed at locals.

During the exchange, which was reported by ExaminerLive, Noel questioned a fan who shouted ‘it’s all about the money’ towards him. In response to the chant, Noel mockingly said: “Have you even got any money? Oh, I can tell that by your f****** haircut.”

He then proceeded to ask the fan which football club they supported and described Bradford as a ‘s**thole’ when they told him they supported Bradford City.

After realising he was, in fact, performing in Bradford, Noel quickly changed his tune by saying “Bradford? I f****** love Bradford", as fans chanted 'Yorkshire' towards him.

The singer did show his softer side later on in the set by stopping the gig to sign a fan’s album.

He ended the set by performing a number of Oasis tracks, notably Half the World Away, Little by Little, Live Forever and Don't Look Back in Anger.
