Watch: Mourinho reacts pathetically after child pelts snowball at him

Jose Mourinho had a snowball thrown at him by some children before his Roma side fell to a 2-1 defeat against Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final.

Mourinho had been walking over to the group of children to greet them when one threw a snowball that fell just short of hitting the Portuguese manager.

He immediately walked away, much to the disappointment of the crowd who let out a collective disappointed sigh in response.

The Roma manager gestured to them, indicating that he wasn’t going over because someone threw the snowball. Who is the childish one in this situation, we ask?

Mourinho’s Roma then proceeded to lose for a third time this season to the Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt, having been bested both home and away in the group stages of the Conference League.

Those defeats included an embarrassing 6-1 loss in Norway, but Mourinho was unable to gain revenge for it when his Roma side returned to Bodo/Glimt’s Aspmyra Stadion for the first leg of their quarter-final.

Mourinho was scathing of both the plastic pitch at the Aspmyra Stadion, which is necessary due to the conditions in northern Norway, and the refereeing standards in the tournament.
