Manchester United play Everton at Old Trafford this weekend as they face their third Premier League match in six days.

Erik ten Hag's team returned from the international break with a Sunday afternoon trip to Newcastle United in the North East. After that 2-0 defeat, they stopped the rot with a 1-0 midweek reversal against Brentford. Everton, comparatively, have not played since United academy graduate Michael Keane scored a 90th-minute equaliser against Tottenham Hotspur to lift them out of the relegation zone.

That briefly moved United down to fifth but the win over the Bees means United sit fifth, behind Newcastle United on goal difference, and three points clear of Spurs. Playing before those two on Saturday means they can pile pressure on their rivals for Champions League qualification.

Saturday's action is at 7:30am ET (4:30am PT; 12:30pm local time).
