WATCH | Lyle Foster scores fantastic first goal for Premier League promotion-chasing Burnley
South African January recruit Lyle Foster scored his first Burnley goal in the Clarets' 3-0 English Championship victory over Wigan on Saturday and it was a strike well worth the wait.
The former Orlando Pirates, Monaco and Club Brugge forward lashed home with his left foot after a drop-down from a teammate to open his Turf Moor account.

Foster's was the third goal of a fabulous afternoon for the Premier League promotion-chasers, a result that helped Burnley consolidate their position atop the English second tier on 80 points, 13 ahead of second-placed Sheffield United. Should they maintain their stranglehold, Burnley will achieve automatic promotion to the top flight at the first time of asking.
Foster joined Burnley from Belgium's K.V.C Westerlo during the January transfer window. Last week, he was named in Hugo Broos' 35-man preliminary squad of players to choose from for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Liberia.
