New Zealand defender Meikayla Moore netted three goals into her own net against the United States in the SheBelieves Cup on Sunday.

The 25-year-old, who plays her club football for English giants Liverpool, endured a torrid first-half against the Star Spangled Banner.

In just 36-minutes, Moore completed a hat-trick of own goals, giving the United States a comfortable lead at half-time.

The United States eased to an emphatic 5-0 victory, with Ashley Hatch and Mallory Pugh capping off a great performance in front of their home crowd.
