There are differences in their management style and tactics.

But perhaps the biggest difference between Gio van Bronckhorst and Steven Gerrard is their style of celebrating after a big win.

Gerrard's time as Rangers manager was punctuated by fist pumps and playing to the crowd and who knows what he'd have been like if he were at the helm for Thursday night's success in Serbia.

Van Bronckhorst on the other hand? Perhaps a quick shake of hands with the opposing manager and down the tunnel.

But against Red Star Belgrade he seemed to let his hair down ever so slightly.

He approached the loyal away fans after the game and a behind the scenes clip, shared by BT reporter Emma Dodds from Belgrade, shows how much the result meant to him.

Walking out of the ground Van Bronckhorst allowed himself a series of fist pumps to those waiting outside.

He'll now be able to get the feet up and track the upcoming draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals from UEFA's Nyon headquarters.
