WATCH | England lock sent off after just 82 seconds in Six Nations clash
82 seconds...
That's all it took for England's Six Nations clash against Ireland to be thrown into disarray.
Eddie Jones' men were left facing a mammoth task after lock Charlie Ewels received his marching orders for a high hit on Ireland's vice-captain James Ryan.
Ewels, who attempted to stop Ryan as he surged forward, came in far too high and that led to a clash of heads and a red card sanction from the referee, Mathieu Rayna of France.
WATCH the incident below:
Honestly don't like to see a red so early in the game, or both players going off, but Ewels has got to make some kind of effort to get low there. #ENGvIRE pic.twitter.com/lMeyFAb5gM
