Warren O'Hora in Celtic 'same season' disbelief as Hibs star takes 3 things from St Mirren stalemate

Warren O'Hora wants points not praise when Hibs renew rivalry with Celtic this weekend.

David Gray’s men are on a 12-match unbeaten run since losing at Parkhead back in early December. Hibees got plenty plaudits for their performance but were bottom of the Premiership pile after that 3-0 defeat. They moved to within three points of fourth-placed Dundee United thanks to Sunday’s scoreless draw at St Mirren. And defender O’Hora wants to make it 13 without defeat when the champs visit Leith at lunchtime on Saturday. O’Hora said: “We played very well at Parkhead and lost 3-0 at the end of it. That’s what can happen. I can’t believe it’s the same season! That game feels so long ago. It’s something that we want to rectify.

“We’ll definitely look back and see where we went wrong and what went well for us. But there’s been games where we haven’t played so well and won. We’ll have a good go, 100 per cent. We’ll back ourselves, there’s no doubt about it, especially at Easter Road. It’s a game for us to look forward to.”

O’Hora welcomed the point at St Mirren after helping Hibs towards a fourth clean sheet in five. They’d lost both previous meetings with Saints including a 3-0 loss on opening weekend.

Despite losing debut boy Alasana Manneh to a late sending-off, Hibs held firm. O’Hora said: “Obviously we don’t go into a game thinking we will take a point and go home. That was never the thought process.

“But you go down to 10 men, as a centre-back, I’m thinking don’t concede late, don’t give them anything, don’t lose. There’s no risks.
