Warning issued about motorway closures set to cause disruption for drivers this week
There will be a number of planned motorway closures in place on motorways across the north west this week. Motorists have been warned the closures could cause disruption to their travels.
Roadworks and repairs on the road networks are the main reason for a majority of the closures. Some work has just begun, while some has been ongoing.
Lancs Live reports that road works are being completed across the M6, M57, M60 and M66. The M60 has four separate road and repair works ongoing at the moment, which are set to continue throughout the week and following months.
