Wales World Cup press conference Live updates as Gareth Bale and Rob Page speak ahead of USA opener

Wales' World Cup campaign kicks off in just over 24 hours' time.

They make their bow at a World Cup for the first time in 64 years against the US tomorrow, with the game kicking off at 7pm UK time.

Today they will hold an open training session before manager Rob Page and skipper Gareth Bale face the assembled media in Qatar.

It is imperative Wales get off to a good start against the Americans - if either team wins the contest they would likely have one foot in the next round already.

Page will be sweating on the availability of midfielder Joe Allen, who has been continuing to train on his own away from the main group in a bid to get up to speed for Monday's match. We'll likely get an update on his condition today.

Stay with us today for all the latest news from the Wales camp.
