Wales Women v USA Falcons Live: Kick-off time and score updates as new Welsh professionals enjoy first outing

Wales Women have their first chance to test their progress since becoming full-time professionals and part-time semi-pros today when they face USA Falcons in a Six Nations warm-up match.

Ioan Cunningham's side run out at Parc y Scarlets (2pm kick-off) for their first fixture since the WRU's new women's performance programme kicked off in January.

A strong Welsh starting XV has been named, with rising star Sisilia Tuipulotu - cousin to Taulupe Faletau and the Vunipola brothers - making her Wales debut in the uncapped match.

Robyn Wilkins starts at fly-half with Elinor Snowsill nursing a calf strain, while Abbie Fleming is ruled out with a neck injury and Georgia Evans will miss the entire Six Nations after undergoing arm surgery.

There are no fewer than 17 replacements on the bench due to this being the final audition for Six Nations squad selection. Most players are expected to get some gametime.

Among them is 32-year-old forward Sioned Harries, capped 58 times, who returns from the international wilderness after last featuring for Wales in the 2019 autumn internationals. She has been to three World Cups and will be bidding to impress to make it to a fourth later this year in New Zealand.

A dozen Wales players became full-time professionals in January with 11 more signing part-time retainer contracts. Talks are currently ongoing for another retainer contract, while three more are up for grabs this weekend.

The match is not being shown on TV or live streamed, but you can follow live updates below.
