Wales v Czech Republic Live: Score updates as team news is confirmed

Wales are back in action at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight as they take on the Czech Republic in an international friendly.

Rob Page's men brought themselves to within 90 minutes of a first World Cup since 1958 last time they were here in the capital, seeing off Austria in a 2-1 win that was underpinned by the brilliance of talismanic superstar Gareth Bale.

They will now face the winner of the other semi-final, which was due to take place on the same night last week, but has now been postponed until June due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, who are due to take on Scotland for the right to face Page's side in the capital.

The ongoing Russian invasion has sparked support and solidarity from across the world of football, and the FAW has decided that all profits from tonight's fixture will go to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

This will additionally be a good opportunity for Page to experiment with his team selection a little, with some of those on periphery of his preferred first XI likely to be given a chance to shine.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is set to earn his 100th cap, and will also take the captain's armband on what promises to be a proud evening for him and his family.

Wales: Hennessey (C); Mepham, Cabango, Gunter; Thomas, Morrell, Vaulks, Norrington-Davies; Colwill; Matondo, Johnson.

Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
