Wales team announcement LIVE as Steve Tandy names side for Ireland

Steve Tandy will name his Wales team to face Ireland today ahead of the clash in Dublin on Friday night.

Wales were much improved last time out against Scotland and despite eventually losing to Gregor Townsend's side in Cardiff they showed promise on which they can build.

With just two games of the tournament left, Wales are staring down the barrel of a third-consecutive Wooden Spoon and although no-one is expecting the men in red to beat the Irish on their own patch, another morale-boosting performance will go a long way ahead of a what is likely to be a huge game against Italy back in Cardiff in a week's time.

Tandy will have to make at least two changes to his starting XV from the fixture against the Scots, with Taine Plumtree and Sam Costelow unavailable through injury.
