Wales Six Nations squad announcement LIVE as Steve Tandy makes big calls
Wales head coach Steve Tandy will today name his squad for this year's Six Nations as he prepares for his first tournament in charge.
The Welsh boss was given a baptism of fire during the autumn internationals as he came away from his first four games as head coach with a single win, and suffered bruising defeats to Argentina, New Zealand and South Africa. However, there were also some green shoots and Tandy is aiming to build on those and put an end to his side's dismal run in the Six Nations.
Wales have not won a game in the competition since they beat Italy away in March 2023, the only victory they have to show from their last three Six Nations campaigns in their entirety.

Last year saw a second successive tournament whitewash and another wooden spoon for Wales, with Warren Gatland stepping down as head coach after two matches and the tournament ending on the sourest of notes with a record defeat at home to England.
Aiming to put an end to his side's dismal losing run, Tandy's first task this campaign is to name his squad and, while much of it picks itself, the former Ospreys boss has some big calls to make when it comes to potential bolters and recalls.
James Williams, Che Hope and Kane James have all seen their names mentioned in regard to call-ups, while the likes of Jake Ball and Ross Moriarty could make a return to the international fold when the squad is named at lunchtime.
