Wales Rugby World Cup training squad announcement: Live updates
Warren Gatland today announces his preliminary Rugby World Cup traning squad.
Around 45 players are expected to be named in a party that will head to Switzerland and Turkey for two gruelling training camps before three summer warm-up Tests against England (twice) and South Africa. The squad will then be trimmed to 33 players later in August.
Fans will be looking out for the names of Joe Hawkins and Will Rowlands, both of who are surrounded by eligibility issues that could see one or both of them banned from representing the national team. You can read the details here.
